Allah the Almighty says, praising His believing servants: “And they feed for the love of Him.” [76:08]
Feeding others is a means by which Muslims show gratitude to Allah the Exalted for giving them blessings. Hence, Muslims perform “Walima” as marriage banquet, “Aqiqah” on the occasion of a child’s birth, and “Wakira” on building a new home. Feeding others can also be an expiation (Kaffarah) for breaking an oath, a charity with the intention of seeking a sick person, etc.
We have been able, by Allah’s grace, with the help of philanthropists, to feed people in need in more than 25 villages in different regions of Tanzania.
